All day, blustery, rainy, chilly. It’s still gorgeous by the lake today - just a bit intimidating, too. Wonder how crazy it will be come wintertime?

Tonight the breeze off the lake is so refreshing. I’m spending some essential patio time. And I thought it was high time I took a photo of myself with my lake… Don’t we make a cute couple?

Yesterday we visited Veterans Memorial Park on Lake Erie, and a father and son were placing flags on all the graves of fallen soldiers. It was a beautiful site to see.

I’m just chilling’ out on the patio, a stack of reading materials and some waves.
Sometimes I just pinch myself that this is my home. Hurrah!

Early this morning, the sun was rising fast over the lake, and everything was shimmery and almost blindingly bright. I caught the silhouette of a man reading a book on one of the benches, backdropped with a total glow - the effect was pretty eerie and awesome. The hat makes it, I think.
